LA GRANJA ESCUELA EN INGLÉS (JULIO 2015)
¡Hola a todos!
Quiero compartir con vosotros la ilusión de informaros acerca de mi nuevo proyecto “Fun Farm”.
¿Qué es Fun Farm?
Es una granja escuela en inglés que está dirigida para niños entre 4 y 8 años. Se desarrollará durante las mañanas del mes de julio 2015 y tendrá una duración de una semana: lunes a viernes , de las 9h a 14:30h.
¿Dónde está?
La actividad se desarrolla en una granja biodinámica de Frómista (Castilla Verde).
La idea es que los niños aprendan inglés en un entorno único, usando la naturaleza como medio para aprender de una forma práctica, diferente y divertida.
Adjunto el programa de actividades que vamos a llevar a cabo:

El precio es de 175€, incluye el transporte a la granja, almuerzo y seguro. Descuentos FunFarm
Reunión informativa e inscripción
El lunes 4 de mayo a las 20:00h se celebrará una reunión en la sala de audiovisuales en La Salle, para dar todos los detalles de la actividad, responder a alguna duda y se podrá reservar plaza y grupo mediante el pago de 100€ que se descontarán del pago total.
Para realizar la inscripción completa se deberá aportar un comprobante del pago junto con la hoja de inscripción que se adjunta.

1 Grupo: 6 al 10 de julio: edades 4 a 6 años
2 Grupo: 13 al 17 de julio: edades 6 a 8 años (COMPLETO)
3 Grupo: 20 al 24 de julio: edades 4 a 6 años
4 Grupo: 27 al 31 de julio: edades 6 a 8 años
(El número máximo de niños por grupo será de 15 niños).

Having watched this video twice now I think this is a vital video in educating young children of the importance of ´cultivating a better world´ through the use of a simple animation that delivers and embeds a meaningful message.
The two minute award winning video clip that promotes Chipotle Cultivate Foundation (a Mexican Grill), is engaging and effective with its capacity to capture the attention of both a young and adult audience.
It depicts a small farmer starting with one pig and before you know it his farm expands and he pumps his livestock with hormones and he is completely sucked into the vicious circle of the food industry and its demands.
The grim tone changes half way through the video as the music crescendos after the farmer suffers with a conscious crisis and realises he wants to ¨go back to the start¨ as Willie Nelson sings his version of Coldplay´s, ´The Scientist.´ He consequently improves the conditions for his livestock, goes back to his roots and his small farm thus a happy ending is achieved.
Remarkably this animation reminds us not only of the importance of choosing better and healthier products, but it highlights the importance of animal treatment too which is long forgotten in the food chain process.
So the next time you are choosing between free-range eggs or the competitive supermarket price; chose the small farmer who chose to sell you good quality.
